Belinda Nisbet – Director
Belinda's expertise involves commercialising new businesses (particularly renewable energy) as well as products in more traditional areas such as transport, banks, insurance, energy and mining for a low carbon economy.
Belinda, previously a founding member of Greenstone Carbon Management (Carbon solutions provider with FTSE100 clients) and strategic architect of their flagship carbon accounting product Acco2unt (GHG management software— rated top 3 globally by Verdantix, Finalist in BP Environment Award & Medallist for best B2B software BCS IT Industry Awards), Belinda has spent the last 3 years in carbon strategy & carbon management and provided research and calculations into UK's Revenue & Customs review of employee car ownership schemes. Belinda is heavily involved in the carbon market, as an expert contributor to the UK’s The Environment Council, member of the Greenhouse Gas Experts Network, low carbon innovation network, Cleantech Network, Climate Capital Network and Tersus Terra. Belinda's previous projects included infrastructure project finance, business process reengineering and change management with a rang of companies from large corporates; Serco Plc, Macquarie Bank, public sector and arts organisations. Belinda also holds an MBA.
